The countdown timer that shows when ZSGO is planned to release on Steam. Currently it is filled with question marks since it has been delayed by Steam Support.

Due to Steam Supports Extended Review Process, the official Steam launch for ZSGO has been delayed.

Read more about it here.

Survivors,

Despite our best efforts and preparations for a November 17th release, ZSGO’s early access release build has been under review by Steam for over three weeks now. Steamworks guidelines that this review should only take 2-3 business days. However, we were informed that our review will take some additional time. This extended period of review comes without any ETA on approval from Steam.

We want to assure you that this is not an issue with ZSGO itself, but rather an unexpected delay in Steam’s review process. Our team has been reaching out to Steam to resolve this issue and we are waiting to hear back. We will update you when we receive word from Steam Support and will post an announcement of the revised release date as soon as our build is approved. We appreciate your patience and support during this time.

Please follow the announcements channel in discord for the latest updates.

For those that are curious:
An automated test regarding controller support failed for not being able to access the quick menu items. We sent them instructions on how to access this menu and steam passed the controller support portion, but they are still reviewing other content in the game.

Thank you,

TeamZSGO

Ever since I built my first PC to play custom zombie maps on 'Call of Duty: World at War,' I knew PC gaming would be a huge part of my life. My passion for zombies didn't just stop there—I grew up playing iconic games on my PlayStation 2 and 3, like 'Resident Evil 5,' 'Dead Rising,' 'The Walking Dead,' 'Fallout,' 'Bioshock,' and the 'Sly' series. However, once I switched to PC, there was no looking back; my PlayStations found their way into storage, and my heart stayed with PC gaming.

My love for survival games deepened with 'Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead’s DayZ' mod, where fate had me meet Dev Ear and Dev SuperPoggers atop the triple yellow in Cherno. A simple meetup on TeamSpeak turned into a lifelong friendship. We've traveled across states—from California to Florida—bonding over countless survival games like 'Rust Legacy' and 'WarZ.' Our adventures led us to run our own Rust servers and Minecraft communities, even tinkering with game development tools like Unity and Unreal Engine.

Our shared dreams and dedication have culminated in the creation of ZSGO, our ultimate zombie survival game. Bringing our collective expertise and creativity to the table, we're committed to crafting an unforgettable gaming experience that stands out in the survival genre.
