Hey Survivors! As many of you know from last year and our previous May Announcement, we have been seeking additional funding through grant applications and other platforms like Kickstarter, Discord, and Patreon.

Funding Pillars

Kickstarter Funding Round II For ZSGO

Our attempt at a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the creation of ZSGO last year did not receive funding. Despite this, we consider it a major success as we raised nearly $5,000, named many roads in MainLevel, and helped pave our roadmap. We’re excited to announce that our Round II Kickstarter campaign has been approved for release on May 24, 2024.

Yes, we didn’t meet our funding goal then, but we didn’t let that stop us one bit! Here we are again, half a year later, with even greater dreams and goals.

If you would like to be notified about our campaign, please click the button above. If you can, please also save and share our campaign which really helps our indie team out. Thank you so much!

Development Goals

We are committed to doing whatever it takes to make ZSGO more accessible to the world, keep development updates flowing (w/ continued live service), and use any funding to speed up our large system changes coming. To those of you who believe in the vision and contribute to its creation, we cannot thank you enough.

Thank you again x3!

Ever since I built my first PC to play custom zombie maps on 'Call of Duty: World at War,' I knew PC gaming would be a huge part of my life. My passion for zombies didn't just stop there—I grew up playing iconic games on my PlayStation 2 and 3, like 'Resident Evil 5,' 'Dead Rising,' 'The Walking Dead,' 'Fallout,' 'Bioshock,' and the 'Sly' series. However, once I switched to PC, there was no looking back; my PlayStations found their way into storage, and my heart stayed with PC gaming.

My love for survival games deepened with 'Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead’s DayZ' mod, where fate had me meet Dev Ear and Dev SuperPoggers atop the triple yellow in Cherno. A simple meetup on TeamSpeak turned into a lifelong friendship. We've traveled across states—from California to Florida—bonding over countless survival games like 'Rust Legacy' and 'WarZ.' Our adventures led us to run our own Rust servers and Minecraft communities, even tinkering with game development tools like Unity and Unreal Engine.

Our shared dreams and dedication have culminated in the creation of ZSGO, our ultimate zombie survival game. Bringing our collective expertise and creativity to the table, we're committed to crafting an unforgettable gaming experience that stands out in the survival genre.
